I was reading a few weeks back on some boxing forum about vitali was knock out in kickboxing. is this true? Vitali has been a pro for over 12 years, and this is the first I've seen about it! I think the wigger's would have been all over this a long time ago if it was anyyhing too it.......

Vitali was stopped twice in his career, once in kick-boxing when Pele Reid supposedly kicked him in the head and once as an amateur when Vitali was a green 17 year old and his corner stopped the fight with older and much more expierienced boxer at the time, Oleg Maskaev. Vitali says he was never KO though.

The wiggers, haters, racists and morons did use those 2 fights all the time to disparage Vitali but after he more than proved his chin against Lewis and Sanders they had to STFU about that because they'd look pretty stupid saying Vitali had a weak chin when 99% of boxers would've been KTFO by the uppercut Lewis landed on Vitali and the straight left that Sanders nailed Vitali with.

The only knock on Vitali is his paper thin skin which cuts easily. Other than that there isn't a fighter in the world that could put him on the canvas. I wouldn't say Sanders was even close to accomplishing it but he may have had him in a bit of trouble.

Cassius Clay and Floyd Mayweather were both KOed in the amateurs.

Here's David Tua who is supposed to have an iron chin being KOed in the amateurs.

And here's David Haye being stopped by a smaller white guy.

Anybody can be knocked out.

By the way, Maskaev didn't KO Vitali, his corner pulled him out after the first round because of an injury. So Vitali has never been KOed by a punch, amateurs or pros, just once by a kick to the head.

Back in the mid to late 90's before Pele Reid was exposed as a glass jawed suspect his marketing push was off of his win over Vitali. I remember when Vitali was about to fight for the WBO belt there was talk of a "rematch" between him and Reid. That marketing dream never happened as Reid was badly ko'd in back to back fights by Julius Francis and Orlin Norris. After that Reid never got beyond British club fighter status.

By a kick even iron chinned guys like Tyson, Vitali, McCall and Tua can be ko'd instantly if the kick is a roundhouse kick that lands with perfect distance/leverage.

A boxing writer claimed to have seen video of the Reed KO of Vitali. I don't think Vitali was out cold but the kick was good enough for the referee ton call the fight from what I remember.
