Vasily Alekseyev has died!

He will forever be remembered for being part of the intro of Wide World of Sports. In the 1970's he was the strongest man in the world at Olympic style weightlifting. I remember watching weight lifting competitions on TV (w/ my Dad) as a kid...seeing how powerful Vasily was. I remember asking my Dad how a "fat guy" can be so strong? Dad quickly advised that powerlifters are much stronger that bodybuilders. He also pointed out me that a street fight isn't a bodybuilding contest.

Him and Pyrros Dimas are the two greatest of the sport ever. Of course when there will be an American Negro who will achieve 1/10 of what these two greats have achieved will get the all time great best title from Jewish organizations as ESPN, Sports Illustrated etc :crazy:
