***The ol' Dixie outlaw will be pulling for Hendo, Silva, Bowles (fellow Georgian), Castillo (vs. afflete Bailey), & Pace (vs. amerindian Torres) & McDonald.

Glad to see the mostly white Hispanic Castillo stop afflete Bailey in the first round. I've always felt Bailey was way overrated.

Seth Baczynski is on a roll. Just finished Matt Brown via guillotine in a mild upset.

Seth has won 4 in a row now and might be one to watch.

Ugh ... I like Nick Pace but why did he have to come into the ring to a rap song :icon_rolleyes:

Chris Weidman is very good. The all-American wrestler is developing a solid submission game and he just tapped Tom Lawlor. Chris should be champ at 185 in 2013.

...Any of ya'll have a streaming link to the PPV bit? I don't have cable, and can't find one for the Spike undercards either. :(

First row sports is good, be sure to have adblock and flash block though.

Here's the card results....

Preliminary card (Facebook)
Castillo defeated Bailey via TKO (punches) at 4:52 of round 1. This bout aired on the Spike broadcast following the Bader vs. Brilz fight. :)

Baczynski defeated Brown via submission (guillotine choke) at 0:42 of round 2. This bout aired on the Spike broadcast following the McDonald vs. Soto fight.
Torres defeated Pace via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

Tibau defeated dos Anjos via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 30-27).
Weidman defeated Lawlor via technical submission (D'Arce choke) at 2:07 of round 1. This bout aired on the Spike broadcast following the Bailey vs. Castillo fight.

Preliminary card (televised)
McDonald defeated Soto via KO (punches) at 0:56 of round 1. :)

Bader defeated Brilz via KO (punch) at 1:17 of round 1.

Main card
Bonnar defeated Kingsbury via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-25, 30-27).
Kampmann defeated Story via split decision (28-29, 30-27, 29-28).
Faber defeated Bowles via submission (guillotine choke) at 1:27 of round 2.
Silva defeated Le via TKO (strikes) at 4:49 of round 2.

Henderson defeated Rua via unanimous decision (48-47, 48-47, 48-47).

***Ol' Dixie's "half cent"....
- Whale of a scrap by Hendo & Shogun.
- Good to see Wandy's brutal MTKB against overhyped Le.
- Bader, McDonald & Faber looked impressive.

Hendo - Shogun fight of the year. I give Dan as good a shot as any against Jones.

Weidman and McDonald future champs.

Bonnar quietly climbing back into the top 10.

Good to see Bader and Kampmann get back on the winning side of things.

Over at Bellator, Michael Chandler pulled maybe the upset of the year in tapping Eddie Alvarez.

Great night for our guys overall.

Glad Hendo won, he was dominate in the first 3 rounds, but seemed to tire after that.

I don't think Henderson dominated other than almost finishing Shogun in one of the rounds it went back and forth. Rounds 4 and 5 were all Shogun. McDonald and MacDonald I hope are future champions.
