Saw BJ Penn on TV yesterday. His head stayed the same size but his body is emaciated trying to make 145. Easy win for Edgar.

Robert Drysdale makes a successful debut at 205! Light heavy was a weak division for us but with younger guys like Villante, Cummins, O'Connell, Stinger and now Drysdale it is getting better.

. Good win for him.

Add Patrick Walsh to the young white guns at 205. Nice win and good takedowns.

Scoggins losses a SD. I had him ahead as did MMA Junkie. He will certainly back.

I hope they do give Mitrione to Lewis. The "Black Beast" is a KO waiting to happen.

Terrible results race-wise. Both the TUF 185 and 205 champs are black. Hopefully Frankie salvages something here (as he should).

Frankie picking up where he left off four years ago. Penn looks awful at 145 and needs to retire.

Edgar TKO's Penn in the third. Frankie beat Aldo but got screwed. Let him get anther shot at the 145 belt.

Penn is 1-6-1 in his last 8. He should be 1-7 because I don't know why they gave him the draw in the Jon Fitch fight.

Easy win for Edgar. That ground and pound was brutal.. Do you guys think Penn is worthy of ufc "hall of fame" ?

Penn is certainly worthy of UFC Hall of Fame. As Hawkeye noted, most of his losses were in the last few years of his career. He is one of two men (Randy Couture being the other) who nabbed belts in two weight classes. Penn is the greatest lightweight of all time and in his prime only lost to guys who were bigger than him (like Hughes and GSP).

Thanks for the response. Every thing you have said have is true. Like you and Hawkeye you have mentioned these last couple years have tarnished his past accomplishments just a tad bit ..

My favorite ko of BJs was when he still had hair lol and the Asian fighter he was in ring with decided to try a flying knee to start fight and Penn finished him in about 15 seconds!

Penn will probably be a hall-of-famer next year. Both Penn and Jens Pulver announced their retirement last night. Two legends and UFC hall-of-famers.

I don't hold it against him that much. 3 losses to Edgar (should never have asked for this fight), losses to Rory, Nick Diaz, and I don't remember who else, and a draw with Fitch. Rory, Fitch and Diaz aren't bad blemishes because they're WWs, and Rory will probably be champion soon and should be favored against everyone in 5 round fights. Edgar should still be LW champion. It's not like he's losing to cans.
