Thanks for the list Whitelightning! I knew that there were some white guys that ran 10.1 second times but not that there was this many. If I remember correctly Woronin's next best time was in the 10.2 range so I don't know if that 10.00 is legit.

I don't think (I'm fairly certain) that Armin Hary ran a 10.00 electronic timing. It was hand timed, which converts to 10.24 electronic.

Armin hary did also ran 9.6 and 9.7 i read in a german article, but he was a fast starter and they always thought that he fals started and when he did run under 10 seconds he had to run again, they didn't belive it was possible to run under 10.No joke it really happened in the end of his carreer he clocked a lot of 9's, but he had to go to jail at a young age so retired when he was ( he did something wrong with money, my german is o.k. because it is close to dutch but this part i didn't understand completely) he retired at age 23/24.

here is the article, i remember I realy enjoyed reading it but i don't know how to translate it, but maybe you guys know a good site for translating,i hope you guys enjoy it too.ow he did run 9.8 but still fast! for someone that only sprinted for 5 years till 1960 then went to jail and then when he came out of jail in 1961 decided to stop because he was mad. and then retired.he did first soccer, were he was always one of the fastest, and then from his 16-18 a lot of things atletics and from 18 till the year he turned 23 sprinting.
