Ok I'll admit it. Up until recently I thought that Obama was going to be the next president. Now it seems like he is about to self destruct. What do you guys think?

Somehow I have the gut feeling that if Obama got elected president and then f**ked up enormously, then the black community would stop trying to "claim" him and start playing up the fact that he is half-white, after all.

Oh, I could definitely see that happening. They would then start viewing him the same way they view Colin Powell, Alan Keyes, and Condi. In other words..."not really black".
