Movies like To Sir With Love and Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, the promotion of many negro pop singers on radio stations and TV programs like Ed Sullivan (Solomon), and TV dramas that always cast the negroes in a positive light had a subtle effect on the way people felt about negroes and made it all possible.

I think violent crime would be significantly less. But crime over all would be less but still around. It seems from the tabloids for a white or a non black to shoot somebody for material possessions he needs to be hopped up on PCP or Coke.
