If any of you watch the Texas Longhorns this season, look for Derry, #33. He is a 6-3, 230 lib. junior LB and a fine player. Kid is a sure tackler who has a real nose for the ball. Played a hell of a game against Nebraska last week.

He came out of Pearland High School where he was a Greater Houston Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Year finalist, racking up 182 tackles (125 solo), 37 TFLs, five sacks, eight forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and four pass breakups.

A new white hero to cheer for!

Where was he during the Ohio St-Texas game earlier this season? I don't remember seeing Texas playing a white LB.

I didn't see him against Ohio State either, CB. I only began noticing Derry about the time Texas played Oklahoma. I remember noting his number and name on a pad that I used to keep track of snaps and yardage.

The kid is sort of built like a strong safety, only bigger. His number and facemask make you think secondary rather than LB.

Don't forget this kid in 2007. He's a starter and has a real nose for the ball.Edited by: Bronk
