Elderly Newnan (White) Man Dies During Home Invasion
NEWNAN, Ga. (FOX 5) - Police are looking for the gunman who shot and killed an elderly man in cold blood Friday morning. Investigators said 70-year-old Bill Williamson died during a home invasion.
Newnan police said a black male broke into Williamson's home on Roberts Road, off East Washington Road, and shot the man to death.
Williamson and his wife were in the kitchen when they were confronted by the suspect.

Brevard County (White) Man Killed After Walking In On Robbers In His Home (Florida)
COCOA, Fla. -- Thursday morning, Brevard County deputies were looking for two men who killed a man when he walked in on a robbery at his home.
Miles Sawvel, 34, and his girlfriend got home around noon on Wednesday to find two men inside their home on US-1 in Cocoa. At least one of the men pulled a gun and shot Sawvel.
Investigators said the men threatened the woman, forced her to lay face-down in the yard and got away.
"I hope they get the guys because he was just a great guy," said Kevin Thomson, Sawvel's neighbor.
Investigators aren't sure if the attack was random or planned. The woman was not hurt.
