I have always found it intersting that when the heads of Europe wanted to create a Jewish homeland they did not condiser using part of Germany. I mean if you are going to take land to create a home for this group so they can be safe from ever experiencing the persucution that Germans visted upon them then pun ushthe Germans by taking part of their country. it almost makes me think they picked palestine for Israel's location just because they did want jewish neighbor's
