Second amendment upheld

I don't remember seeing a thread about the recent Supreme Court decision striking own theDC gun ban. Thank goodness for Justice Scalia! He led the fight to prreserve our gun rights. The usual suspects Breyer and Ginsburg were on the wrong side -- again in a close 5-4 vote! If we had another tribesperson on the bench our gooses would probably have been cooked.

I've not read Scalia's opinion, yet. However, I understand it defends restrictions on gun rights, and says that we should not be ALLOWED to own certain types of firearms.

So much for "Shall not be infringed."

The so-called experts have said that this was a landmark decision.on the second amendment. If the vote went the other way, it would all be over but the crying.
