One of our best has died (some say he's been murdered). Rest in peace, Michael Collins Piper.

I'm real sorry to hear that. His book on the JFK assassination, Final Judgement, was the best

Piper was in terrible health. He was obese his entire adult life, never exercised other than lifting Jack Daniels bottles, and had a serious heart ailment. For that site to claim he was assassinated without a scintilla of evidence to back it up is irresponsible at best, deliberate disinformation at worst.

Agreed Don.
This is sad news indeed. And yes, apparently he was in poor health the latter years of his life. I wish VT would just have simply commended Piper on his courage and left it at that. It seems ridiculous for them to go off on such a rabbit trail, when they should have left well enough alone. Piper was a unique and intelligent man with insights every American should read. Even if anyone will agree with him 85%, it would still be a good step in the right direction. But he will get no coverage, except for those of us who are awake. Sadly, there is no need for an otherwise informative albeit imperfect site like VT to overreach their suppositions when the usual suspects have enough dirt on them for us to investigate...
