Just watched the video. This kid has great potential! He doesn't have the greatest burst off the snap, but has excellent speed in the open field. He should go to speed camp this summer and next year, if he isn't already. I got to do that last year, and it really improves short movement speed. Let's see what Cameron can do senior year!

Searching around for information on Cameron and what has been going on with his recruiting, I came across this story from months ago.In addition to showing his prolific high school stats, and comments such as "aonce ina lifetime player", it notes that he will have toWALK ON to a university in hopes of getting a football scholarship!! If only he was darker pigmented. Perhaps if he maintains a really dark tan, he can be the next Ryan Mathews.

He's qualified because: He closed one of the most prolific careers in Central Section history by rushing for 2,691 yards and scoring a total of 43 touchdowns â€" the last a 74-yarder straight up the gut on the final carry of his career in a 29-28 Division IV playoff loss to Washington.

He finished with 6,149 yards rushing and 94 touchdowns in a three-year career.

Teammates, coaches, opponents and fans marveled more at his durability than statistics. Slight of build, he carried 324 times this year â€" an average of 29.4 a game â€" and 787 for his career. And he continued to get up.

The word: "He's a once-in-a-lifetime type of player. Football coaches always want guys with heart, and this guy has the biggest heart ever made. Everybody knew he was getting the ball because we couldn't throw it. He got most of his yards in the second half of almost every game. Everybody spied him â€" everybody. And he had nothing to take the pressure off â€" nothing. He had himself. He'll walk on [in college] and get a scholarship the first year." Ã¢â‚¬" Monarchs coach Ben White.
