Another example of why whites don't get a chance a Running Back. In the Colorado 4A state title Orms had over 400 yards of total Offense and 5 Touchdowns but none were any bigger then his touchdown when they were down three on potentially their last play they handed it off to Orms on a 4th and 2 from about midfield. Orms took the ball and out Muscled and out ran the defenders and took it in for a TD which was eventually the game winning Touchdown with about 20 seconds left.

Orms ran a 4.4 which really means a 4.3 but he is not playing RB at the D-1 level instead he is playing Safety at the D-1 level for Colorado. Which proves my point

Maybe Parker Orms should have gone to Colorado State, where Kyle Bell did get a chance to play RB. Also, as others have noted, the coaches, parents, fans and the athletes themself need to do a great job of marketing the player so they get as much attention from recruiters as possible. I guess Parker was influenced by those around him that told him to go with being a safety. A chance does exist for white RBs who go far above and beyond the normal process for being recruited to play college ball.

I know but the thing is when you win a state title single handily you have a lot of talent and well those scouts for all those teams that take a black running back that will carry the ball 35 times for 100 yards and consider that a good game really missed out on this guy
