NFL classifies Matt Jones as a TE

On yahoo's search engine, type ""Matt Jones" nfl"
and you will see the results. The first result is the link to his player page. In the caption below the link, it says, and I quote, "Official player page featuring game, career, and situational statistics for the tight end Matt Jones."

No offense to any TEs, but this is pretty blatant proof that Matt Jones faces unfair treatment from the NFL.

I mean it seems to me that Gerard may be more comfortable throwing to
Jones than Reggie Williams, and with all the talk of Jones dropping
balls, Reggie has dropped even more balls! Gerard clearly likes Wilford
because they practiced together when they were both second team so I
dont think he will be sent to the bench. Wilford is like a bigger
slower Issac Bruce. Wilford is supposedly the slowest receiver in
the league but runs great quick agile routes and doesn't drop passes. I
will be pissed if Jones is kept as 3rd WR on the depth chart, if Del
Rio is that biased, Jones should speak out or demand a trade!

well, we all know he is not a TE.
and yeah i think he will start, as a matter of fact Del Rio said that if this franchise is to do well down the stretch they will need good performance from Matt Jones.
so they expect a lot of him.
they did draft him in first round, so worst case scenario they won't give up on him especially since he shows flashes of brillance and they don't want to hear people say Jags made a mistake picking him.
