Conan the Barbarian has a fantastic score from the late Basil Pouleduris. It strikes me as lazy to post the whole movie score here, but I will anyway because it is certainly one of the best soundtracks ever, in an era where you could not really cash in on creational music talent.



You could easily listen to this orchestral performance and would prefer it to classic operettas like Mozart's 'Marriage of Figaro,' or also many of Peter Jackson's mercenary. glorious tunes.

My all-time favorite movie though is 'The 13th Warrior,' for many reasons but in some small part due to its epic soundtrack from Jerry Goldsmith.

I am a huge fan of Braveheart - so much so I read Blind Harry’s epic poem The Wallace upon which I lit was inspired by. The original score is one of the most beautiful and stirring film scores.
