Iowa's United States Congressman Steve King told a crowd in Des Moines in June, "Illegal aliens cause the death of 25 American citizens every day...13 by drunken driving and 12 by stabbings or gun fire."
That daily figure adds up to 9,125 deaths annually caused primarily by illegal alien Mexicans residing in America. Mike Rosen, radio talk show host in Denver, said it wasn't significant when you consider our country of 300 million. A listener corrected him, "It's not significant unless it's your father or family member who gets killed."
More sobering, almost eight times as many deaths of civilian Americans have occurred in our own country in three years than deaths to our soldiers in the Iraq and Afghanistan war zones. It's safer in a war zone than on our own highways and in our own homes in America. At the same time, South Koreans are safer in their own homes with 37,000 American troops guarding their border from North Korea for the past 40 years--with our troops and tax dollars--than we are in our own country.

The remnants of a brutal and lengthy fight were scattered throughout Mary Sadler's 229 Cross Timbers Drive home on Tuesday.

Nearby, police found Sadler, 74, dead, her beaten and bloody body by a rear sliding-glass door inside the home.

"It was one hell of a fight," her grandson-in-law, Paul Woods, said Tuesday as he helped clean debris from the living room. "I think she did a good job for being 74 years old and trying to defend herself."

According to Metro police, the man who on Monday killed Sadler, and perhaps Sadler's bird, was Ivan Moreno, 30, a next-door neighbor.

Moreno, who is thought to be an illegal immigrant from Mexico, admitted to police that he struck Sadler after he went to her house to get money, said Metro police spokesman Don Aaron.

This has to stop.They are the only country who thinks they don't have to wait in line.That is crazy.Look at all of the whites and minorities that have waited and come here legally.I hope they continue to boost the border patrols and keep the national guard down there.It may not be a solution but every little bit helps.

An update to a previous atrocity, it only gets worse.

"The 74-year-old woman who police say was beaten to death last month by her next-door neighbor inside her Bellevue home also was sexually assaulted during the attack, Metro police said yesterday.

When Metro detectives found Mary Sadler's bloody and battered body, there was evidence that clearly showed a sexual assault, said Don Aaron, Metro police spokesman."

WASHINGTON - Two more cases of gang rapes by illegal aliens are being quietly adjudicated in Wisconsin and California, as activists and social scientists say the crime wave needs greater attention and national debate.

Last month, in Wisconsin, Jose Godinez, 35, who speaks no English, pleaded guilty in the December gang rape of a 14-year-old girl. He faces up to 40 years in prison and a $100,000 fine. He is set for sentencing next month by Rock County Judge Al Bates.

HERE'S ANOTHER STORY OFF DRUDGE

Sept. 25, 2006 â€â€￾ The shooting of a Houston police officer has sparked a new battle over immigration.

Juan Leonardo Quintero, an illegal immigrant, has been charged with killing a Houston police officer last week after a routine traffic stop.

Police Chief Harold Hurtt blamed the federal government for failing to secure U.S. borders.

Quintero allegedly shot Officer Rodney Johnson four times in the head while in handcuffs in the back seat of his patrol car.

Johnson arrested Quintero during a routine traffic stop for speeding but apparently missed the suspect's gun in a pat-down search.


Following the shooting, a video showed Houston police officers pulling open the back doors of Johnson's patrol car and yanking the suspect out of the back seat.


"It's very easy to make a mistake. I am not saying a mistake was made," one Houston police officer said. "Unfortunately, we are in the business where a mistake can kill you."

The suspect should not have been in the United States.

Quintero was deported in 2004 after a conviction for indecency with a child.

"The subject was deported, and yet he came back, so if the government fulfilled their responsibility of protecting the border we would probably not be standing here today," Hurtt said.

The Houston Police Department has been struggling this year to deal with the influx of Katrina evacuees and an immigration problem that is only getting worse.

Border Patrol said thousands of illegal immigrants crossed into the United States each month.

Johnson received a commendation for valor for pulling several children from a burning building.

He leaves behind a wife who is also a police officer and their five children.

And although Hispanic members are less than 10 percent of Nashville's street gang population, they were responsible for about 45 percent of last year's gang-related violence, police said.
