Media prodding

Apparently, several mixed race figures who are heralded by the media as black heroes do not wish to be identified by their race.

It is a very liberal article, but it is interesting to see how a lot of athletes who are considered black and get all that comes with it, don't really consider themselves to be in a special racial class.Edited by: Freedom

key thing is that whites don't consider them white, which is really the
important point. If everybody thinks you are of a certain race, whether you

I must respectfully disagree with this. Usually mulattos are the first ones to proclaim their blackness and shove it down peoples throats. We're bombarded with it, especially during this month of the year by the mainstream media. And another thing is, is mulattos tend to be more anti-white than even their darker black cousins. Barack Obama, Bryant Gumbel, Huey Newton, Louis Farrakhan, Wallace Fard are all either mulattos or light skinned blacks, and they are some of the most anti-white, pro-black people on the face of the earth

Lance, its the half-white ones that hate whites the most because, even
with some white blood, they are still not considered white enough to be
white. That's why they hate us so much. They want to be white, but they
never will be. We are somthing they want to be, but never will be. Envy is
at the base of it all. Envy and self-loathing. The half-white ones think
they are better than dark skinned blacks. Skin tone amongst blacks is
VERY important. Light skinned blacks are much higher up on the totem
pole than dark skinned blacks.

Also, many mixed race black children have even more problems than
regular black kids. The statistics on crime, mental health, etc. all show
this. Their loyallties are split. They're not sure what they really are. And
since anti-white black racism runs so thick in black society and culture, it
again causes self-loathing. But often, it is the white parent (usually a
female), who is the one who is most kind and supportive of the mixed
race child. Thus loyalties are split.

Best not to mix, in my opinion. But some people don't think much about
how it will all affect their kids.
