You just might be right. I suspect he really doesn't want to play in this game. I wish the Eagles would start Kevin Kolb instead of AJ Feely. If Kolb played fairly well that would start McNabb's exit from the Eagles even sooner. I think there is a good chance that the Bears end up with McNabb next year.Edited by: guest301
McNabb is officially out for tomorrow. I think every black QB who's started in the NFL this season has been injured except for Cleo Lemon and Jason Campbell (who was banged up in the preseason).

McNaab is officially out period. He's a washed up player and nothing else has to be said about him. Whether or not he gets some more starts from now until the end of the season is immaterial. The chances of his being a starting QB next year are slim and none. Best he'll be able to do is hold a clipboard for some team.

McNabb is the consensus starter for next season, effectively giving Kevin Kolb the shaft for another season. Trust me, die-hard Philadelphians are not happy with seeing McNabb again and anxiously await the Kevin Kolb era.
I hope this doesn't turn into a Brett Favre/Aaron Rodgers situation. Or, more accurately, a Steve McNair, Kyle Boller situation.

Most folks I talk to want McNabb out. The only reason he is still around (especially after last season) is the massive advertising he is involved with, imho.
Garcia outplayed him as well in the 06 season. McNabb is totally overrated, besides the 2004 season he has been largely a average QB if that.

No McNabb is an above average QB when he has been healthy in his prime yrs. I would probably rank him in my top 10 in the league those years for sure. He certainly isn't a top 5 QB in the league anymore like the media tries to paint him out to be, if he ever was.Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

The difference with McNabb is that he gets paid like hes Peyton Manning, while being average. Garcias stats from last year were better then McNabbs, iirc.

If he wasn't "the answer", then why in the world would he have been our first overall choice last year? Clearly Reid sees something in him as it becomes more apparent that McNabb's time is coming to a close. Give him a chance.
While I may have been incorrect to say people await the Kolb era, most fans who know certainly see that McNabb isn't going to cut it in the future. Kolb will get a shot, and it's up to him to prove himself to Philadelphia fans and the league.
