Here's another European HW prospect. This one is 23 years old and from Croatia. He's undersized for the division, at 6'1" and 220 pounds. (Another guy who should be a Cruiserweight, if only that division were more popular.) He's an excellent puncher, with good hand speed and power. Very explosive. The first knock down in this fight was from a jab! It was so quick that it looked like a phantom punch on the replay.

Check it out, it's about six and a half minutes:

He fights on the 9th. Edited by: JD074

I was just watching the boxing card from Poland, and Preskar won his fight quite easily.

Golota looked great against Jeremy Bates. Bates is an "opponent" type opponent, but Golota still looked good finishing him fast in the second round. What was interesting was that they showed highlights from Golota's bouts with Byrd and Ruiz. I had not seen these fights. Man, Golota looked like he kicked both of their asses. He really got ripped off on those decisions.

Golota is a dangerous old man in the Heavyweight division. He still might do some damage before he's done.

Soon after his last fight on Sep 29/07, Mario Preskar made the mistake of signing with Don King.

He has not fought since.

Don King keeps an age 23 (now 24) fighter inactive, and ruins his career. At the time Preskar was considered to be one of the best young heavyweight prospects in Europe.
