Marino Fake!

Can't believe that N.D. fell for the old Marino: lets hurry up (even
though the clock is not ticking) and spike the ball , so we can waste 3
seconds with only 7 seconds left in the game, so we can run
another play. Hell even I knew they were going to fake the
spike (and I've had a few beers) and give it to Linhart up the
middle.

Actually, I don't think they fell for it. They stuffed him over the top, Leinhart rolled off the pile around the corner and the defense was late getting there.

The officiating was BS. One official called the prior Leinhart run a touchdown, when he never crossed the goalline and had already fumbled the damn ball! Edited by: White Shogun
