Mandatory "Diversity" Training

The other day at work, we were required to listen to a mandatory "diversity" (i.e. - socialist indoctrination 101) training. It was such a total crock of crapola. There was this "Asian" executive basically bragging how she defied the "bamboo ceiling" by breaking the submissive "Asian" woman stereotype. She was going on about all her successes and spewing the Marxist type rhetoric about multiculturalism, etc. Then, this "African-American" fruitloop gave this poor-me-baby routine about his struggles on the way to the top, etc. In my 12 years with this company, I've never heard such blatant socialist claptrap. It was pretentious, sanctimonious BS of the highest order! It sickens me to have to listen to such pure drivel.

Years ago I had to attend one of these Maoist inspired re-education sessions. It was called "sensitivity training" and was meant to keep me from thinking "sexist" and "racist" thoughts, or at least to keep me from expressing them.

You can disrupt one of these things with a few well chosen comments or some good statistical analysis. It can be lots of fun throwing a monkey wrench into the trainers' well-oiled propaganda machine, but you have to be careful that you don't come off looking like a boob or being too aggressive. A laid back, casual sort of sketicism is the best tactic.Edited by: Bronk

I would rather attend diversity training than sexual harassment training. At least after diversity training everyone seems to get along, after sexual harassment training men and women are afraid to talk to each other.
