I hope Ledbedev finally ushers in Toney's long awaited retirement. I hope the win for Ledbedev is spectacular, much like his victory over Roy Jones. I believe Toney deserves the same only worse. Like laying unconscious on the mat for 5 minutes.

Supposely, Toney and his camp are saying he is in tremendous condition much like he was in 2003 when he beat Jirov. We shall see.

James Yoney has plenty to say as usual. He's never lost to a white fighter but he's also hasn't fought any legit ones. I won't be happy with a win, only a knockout will do.

James “Lights Out” Toney will depart for Moscow, Russia, this Wednesday, October 19, in advance of his meeting with WBA #1 cruiserweight contender Denis Ledbedev at the Khodynka Ice Palace on November 4. Wishing to get fully acclimated to the region, Toney (73-6-3, 44 KOs) will continue training in Moscow. 43-year-old Toney says he’s in the best physical shape he has been in years and he’s just putting the final touches on his camp and on fight night Operation Lights Out in Russia will be in full effect.
“You aint gonna see no lay down like Bernard Hopkins did,” said the former champion at middleweight, super middleweight and cruiserweight. “I will be there to kick his ass right in front of his people. He likes to wait until fighters from my generation get old and that’s made him feel like he can fight. But I’m going to show him what a big mistake he made thinking he can pull that with me.”

Actually WA 33 he has. It was against a White fighter named Taberei(Spelling?) to anyone who saw the fight. I saw the fight on ABC World of Sports back in the early 90s. It was one of the last boxing broadcasts. Anyways, the ABC crew told Toney he had really lost the fight, but got a gift decision. Toney, ever so the sportsman told the announcer who was dying of throat cancer to **** off on live TV! This is the fighter that DWFs adore.

This F**K is one person I hope gets the KTFO more so that Bore-nard BS last week.

This guy Yoney is a disgrace to boxing. Not only is he an extreme racist, but he's very arrogant and can't keep himself in shape. He goes into many fights obese and claims he's the top heavyweight in the world yet his best recent win is over Fres Oquendo and it was only a SD.

I hope the Russian retires the fat black overrated boxer!
The fight against Tiberi was a clear evidence how black boxers get favored in this sport.
God bless the Eastern Euros, they changed it all with their fists.

Back in 92 as I recall Tiberi was a 28to1 underdog, so I put down $fifty on Dave by decision. Toney I believed at the time to be just a lot of hype. But I lost not only my fifty, but the $1400 that was rightfully mine!! So I stopped watching boxing for three years until I heard of the upcoming George Foreman vs Axel Schulz match. I went over to a friends house to watch the fight only to see (Once again) a white guy get jobed by another overhyped negro. So I quit again until 2003. But boxing has changed and its worth watching now..

Crooked decisions and judges and refs and matchmakers and gangsters in the shadows hasn't changed. It's gotten worse. On the other hand, the white race has seized control of the heavyweight division!

While boxing was originally a racist sport that benefited Whites ie circa 1880 through 1938(roughly), once the mob got a hold of Black fighters there were many instances where White fighters over the years have been robbed because the Mob had the Black fighter and the independent White fighter wasn't going to get the decision short of winning every round. Gavilan vs Graham II was an example of this.

No it was OUR sport and OUR country then and humans weren't obliged to compete against semi-humans with thicker skulls and smaller brains and protruding muzzles and receding jaws and foreheads, and the word "racism" wasn't even invented yet.

Was it that boxing was racist back then, or is it that boxing is racist now? Could it be that blacks just were never that good?

I mean, Tom Cribb knocked out the negro Tom Molineaux way back in 1810 and done it again in 1811.
The media use racism as a cover for boxing history before the mob and the anti-white goons took control of the sport.....

Back in the 60's, 70's, 80's, and early 90's these negro champions(Tyson, Lewis, Ali, Toney) were all fighting bums. Their competition as far as white fighters was only a small pool of untalented white Americans. The fact still remains that most DWF's still consider Tyson somewhat of a god in boxing.

Sir the reason why I said it was a racist sport was because of the colour line that was drawn in the late 1880's. The British didn't have this barrier hence Cribb vs Molineaux I and II. People have accused the Cribb cramp of chicanery in the first fight. He legitimately stopped Molineux in the second fight. Also since these two fights were 6 generations ago you will find two accounts of the fights and the politics around the two fights. I remember reading a British history of boxing book at my junior high library and the book stated that Cribb beat Molineux twice. Years later in my 20's I read a Arthur Ashe account and he stated that chicanery happened in the first fight that allowed Cribb to win(ie shortening of rounds when he was in danger) and Ashe stated that after the first fight Molineux became an alcoholic and wasn't fit when they fought the rematch. Obviously nobody can truly give an accurate account as all witnesses and participants have been dead for at least 120 years.

I'm not at all trying to attack you or your post White is right. I was just pointing out that IMO, the socalled "color line"
is nothing more than the same old anti-white media propaganda about boxing history..........

I think all of you overlook a very important factor in here............... Olympic Games.
Boxing has always been a white dominated sport, even in the 60's, 70's and 80's that blacks were supposed to dominate the local American Professional boxing scene, since in 95% of the cases, the boxers who competed for the titles in those eras were Americans regardless race.
At the Olympics where the whole planet had "free" access, Eastern European nations were winning 60-75% of the gold, silver and bronze medals, it's a plain fact.

How do you expect a Soviet, a Polish, an Eastern German, or a Hungarian, like the greatest amateur boxer of all time, that Laszlo Papp is, to beat at the pros an overrated black American that he already smashed as an amateur, when these guys were winning gold medal at the Olympics but had no right or chance to even turn pro, thanks to their communist countries?

Oh and by the way, the best Negroes in the sport are not the overrated and over hyped Americans who failed at the Olympics against real competition, the best Negroes in the sport are the Cubans, FACT!

African-Americans, the vast majority of them, during their over protected professional careers fight in their backyard exclusively, have the mafia to protect them, anti-white promoters like black panther Don King and Jewish con artist Bob Arum, corrupted judges, corrupted referees, fight in front of their fans in most cases and still once the Iron Curtain did fall, they get beat from beasts from the east.

Yes the US depth or lack of depth has been exposed since the Eastern Euro/West Asians have turned pro. The last good North American pro class was 88' with Lewis, Bowe, Mercer, Morrison and Seldon. In 92' Larry Donald, Jeremy Williams and Shannon Briggs turned pro, but they had to contend with Golota, Tua, Ibeabuchi and Maskaev. Only Briggs was able to win a paper title, while in the 88 class all of the top fighters won one form of a paper title or in the case of Lewis and Bowe lineal titles. Once the 96' class turned pro the Willamsons and Clay-Beys couldn't even win a paper title because the K brothers were around they couldn't beat them on the K brothers worst day.

I was browsing through Youtube the other day and apparently James Yoney has some sort of a little show where a white guy is his reporter and asks him questions about current boxing champions and the state of boxing. After hearing this retard speak for less than ten seconds it's obvious he has severe brain damage from boxing, not that he was very bright to begin with. He can barely manage to string together a complete sentence. Some of his videos show him in the "hood" of Detroit with a bunch of supposed gangbangers by him and Yoney speaking his usual nonsense. This clown makes Tyson look like a well spoken gentleman.

Yes WA 33, Yoney's brain is scrambled. Go on YouTube and pull up some of his fights from the mid 90s and compare his speech and thought process to now. Its night and day. I will admitt that from the Mid 90s to the 2000, Toney was one of the best and most relaxed fighters in the ring. But now, like most affeletic boxers did not know how to manage their money, ie. Roy Jones, need to fight at extreme risks to their mental health, to maintain revenue stream.

I will give some credit to Toney for coming in less than 200 lbs. This is alot from being the jumbo jelly donut he has been for the last several years.

There should be no excuses for Ledbedev in not beating Toney out right or KOing him. Toney needs to be removed from the boxing scene, mas pronto.
