Here's a link to video of Offerman and also a caste article that down plays what should be a career ending loss of anger. Shades of Venus Williams, what was he thinking? A couple of things come to my mind. Why are all of the umpires in the "Dominican League" white americans? And what kind of "league" has about 50 people in attendance at a game?

C'mon man, don't be so intolerant. Talk to any White writer who covers baseball and he'll tell you that Offerman is a nice young man with a 50,000 megawatt smile. So he had a bad day, doesn't he deserve another chance?

On a more serious note, attacking a pitcher with a bat three years ago should have been a ratherobvious clue that Jose isn't exactly manager material. Maybe that was considered an exhibit of Jose's "passion for the game." Because when it comes to affirmative action, common sense and fairness have never been considerations.

I wonder what Dominicans, a majority of whom are white, think of their country being represented in America by mostly black baseball players. Are they the Hispanic equivalents of American DWFs, rooting for 'their' players?

Charlie the Dominican Republic is where the castesystem against pure Spanish Dominicans flourish. All the MLB scouts go down there looking soley for Dominican affelets playing ball. A spanish ball player gets no play just the tropical affelets. Even if the Spanish ball player has skills.
