Thanks for the vids, Shawn. That's the first I've seen of him. Very fluid puncher. He's going to be a very entertaining inside fighter. I imagine he'll be in a few bloody battles, hopefully he'll win them!

Fewkes backed out with an injury so Murray will be fighting a journeyman type opponent. Carl Froch's fight gets elevated back to Showtime.

Murray stopped Lawton in 6. He's won his last three by knockout and improves to 27-0(15).

Murray will face fellow Brit Gary Buckland 18-1(6) for the vacant European lightweight title on May 7.

in Manchester, UK today. There should be a stream HERE at about 5 PM Eastern time.

Former Vitali Klitschko opponent Albert Sosnowski is scheduled to have a warm-up fight against Paul Butlin on this card.

Unbeaten European lightweight John Murray (30-0, 19 KOs) scored a ninth round TKO over Andriy Kudryavtsev (34-8, 15 KOs) on Saturday night at the Robin Park Centre in Wigan, England. Murray was in command all the way and got the stoppage at 2:39. No knockdowns in the bout.
