John Duddy defeats Campas

Campas (who has fought in almost 100 fights!) opened up cuts over both of Duddy's eyes, but Duddy was too much down the stretch. He won the unanimous decision 117-111, 116-112, and 115-113, although the articles I read made it seem much closer. Apparently he got in quite a bit of trouble in the 12th.

This was obviously the toughest test for Duddy. He probably needed a battle like this to see what he's made of. Congrats Duddy, but keep improving!

Been following Duddy for a while. Has good power and seems to be able to take a punch well, but needs to improve upon his defense, especially if it turns out that he is prone to getting cut. This was a step up for him though and a good win.
