Woahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I am not trying to sound disrespectful and may Joe's soul rest in peace, but are we honoring and opening threads dedicated to black "legends" too in this site?
I doubt they would give a damn in their "black planet" sites if a Klitschko or Calzaghe died. Actually, they would probably say, "Thank God we got rid of these two overrated and weak white boys" hehehe.

Damn, in a site like that and Joe Frazier gets his 15 minutes of fame, when there are tons of good hard working white men who die on daily basis around the world and none gives a damn.

I guess Americans, see no color and race when they are honoring their heroes, that's how the blacks became massive stars in sports, music and movies. If it wasn't for the US, blacks would be known for poverty, HIV, Africa being the weakest link of this planet and so on. But oh well, God bless America and its unconditional love for its black heroes:high5:

And you still wonder how blacks became so dominant in certain sports and forms of entertainment? The US loves them baby!!!!!!!!!!

No offense, but in my opinion, this thread should never be on this site. Every mainstream boxing site there is, dedicates tons of pages and articles to him, you know the usual "American worshiping of the super black athlete"! You could join them there.

WIR is a respected member here, so based on his effort to create a thread on a respectable fighter, I concur in Joe Frazier his due here at CF.

Frazier never spoke ill of White Men, as I remember. He never schuked or jived as most blacks. He plyed his trade like a professsional. He was like Ken Norton. He spoke proper English and was a great fighter for the most part. His KO of Bob Foster with the left hook is one of the ages.

Yes, we here at CF want justice for our people, our athelets, but lets not forget, that some black men do deserve respect, epecially the hour of their death. A man like Joe Frazier unlike Ali, deserves our respects for his fighting spirit and battles. Joe RIP

I have a lot of respect for many black, Asian, Arabic, Pakistani etc people too, no doubt about that. I root for my people, but I am not being delusional or ill about other races.
All i am saying is that every time i visit Sports Illustrated, Boxing scene, east side boxing, yahoo, billboard etc most of the times, on these American sites, blacks people have the monopoly of promotion. That's all. Every major American site there is, pays contribution pages to Joe today, literally all of them. Heck, even most sites in the UK do so too. So in my humble opinion, the asker of this question, could easily pick one of the hundreds mainstream sites that pay contribution to Joe today and pay his contribution to his American boxing hero. Also, let's not forget that Joe was the main reason that Bonaneva never became a champ, after he suffered a blatant robbery in the US against the "super black athlete"

Joe was a good man but a grossly overrated boxer thanks to the American mass media. If eastern Euros fought professionally back then, they would KO overrated Joe like a midget.

Yes, Crixus your are right in everything you say. I concur 100% but, lets remember that Joe Frazier was the fighter most White people wanted to win over Ali. Also, lets remember that black people are beings we in America have to co exist with. If for one day, one could give respects to another who wanted to kill Ali in the ring is not much to ask.

You might be right my friend, but I keep this line from all you said. In my humble opinion again, this line describes the best, the cultural shock and intimidation the white American male suffers in the US today! You might get offended, but from what I know, American Negroes do not see white Americans as equal beings that they have to co exist with and they are vocal how they want their 100% "chocolate cities and society". They openly desire the extinction of the white man from the face of the earth. In movies, in hip-hop songs, in poetry and so on. They are really vocal about their feelings for white people in America and their biggest protest of this, is the incredibly high black on white hate crime rate. I did read somewhere, that a good 75% of the rapes inside the American jails today, is black on white. That says it all!
I find sad how a good 70% of white Americans are so extremely intimidated and scared of a little tiny 14% of blacks.

Again Crixus. You are correct in your assertions. However, its the White drone who need to WTF to whats is happening in America. American blacks for the most part are a simple dumb group who could be controlled by simple measures. But there is another group or tribe who is stirring the soup. Bottom line White people as a collective need to WTF up to whats going. Joe Frazier was a simple black man who plyed his trade to beat Ali that is all. He was not looking for a linch pin to unseat White people in America. He died relatively poor for God's sake.

I posted about the passing of Frazier because of the historical significance and because Frazier did things that weren't in the norm for Black athletes at the time. During the era most prominent Black athletes hated the White establishment and the media increasingly sided with them. Ali aside from little children really just tolerated Whites because they made him money and he needed them to be a champion. Joe Frazier attended functions with the vilified Richard Nixon and befriended Frank Rizzo. He also received death threats from whackos because he fought Ali and beat him.

No question that Frazier would get squashed by either K brother if he fought today. I suspect he would have been a cruiserweight who moved up in big money fight(similar to Haye) and would have been ko'd in a similar fashion to what happened when he fought Foreman.

My friend, I never said you personally are intimated by any negro, I just found the line, kinda intimidated for my standards, that's all. I am sure you didn't mean it like that.

No my friend, i am wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too far from a troll, i am a very proud white man and a fanatic believer of the white superiority in accomplishments, talents, skills, looks, intelligence, achievements and contributions, that's all. I do not believe the supreme white man needs to co exist with no Negro or Asian, heck no. We did pretty fine in Europe for almost 30 centuries without any Negro or Asian or Pakki and so on.

My country of origin matters for what exactly? I am a strong white man with many contributions to my race, isn't that enough?

My point is one, this thread should never open on this site. I am done with this thread.
May God rest his soul, but i won't glorify no overrated American negro who had a couple of gift decisions against my white people.

To those to young to remember the Frasier-Ali fight it might be hard to comprehend the social significance of that fight for America. Ali represented everything about the new world order of the time, he was an unrepentent black nationalist who opposed the Viet Nam war (not a bad thing mind you) and his refusal to serve whilst our brothers and sons and fathers were dying in rice paddy's made him the ultimte anti-establishment figure.

Ali was also the first of the absurd trash talking negro athletes who bragged constantly in a manner that was completely new for major sports. At the time America still used it's institutions to try and install classic white virtues and the sports scene was supposed to reinforce ideas of honor, integrity and sportsmanship.

Joe Frasier whether he wanted to or not represented classic White America of that era. As a decent inner city kid from Philly he was just another working "Joe" trying to get his share of the American dream. When you are trying to build a decent society you have to do it with all of the citizens and that included blacks.

I still remember during that fight watching TV and every few minutes they would give the round by round results during commercial breaks. It was unbelievable when Frasier was announced the winner. It was perhaps the last victory for America 1.0.

I was never a Joe Frazier fan. He was just another media and caste system pet who robbed many white men of an opportunity in pro boxing. From His gift decision over Hans Huber in the Olympics (Called one of the worst decisions in Olympic boxing history), to His mob backers (a group of investers as they were called by the media at the time). Then there was His pulling out of the first fight with Jerry Quarry even after agreeing to the fight and signing the contract in 67 and was then given a world title by the New York state Athletic Commission. And who could forget His split decision win over the white boxer Oscar Bonavena! A joke of a fight You can watch on YouTube. Bonavena beat Frazier from pillow to post but lost to the mob backed Negro.

EuroKing, you have been asked to show respect for members and stop stirring up controversy and you are back to doing the same thing. Your constant lies are really getting annoying. As I recall first you were Greek and now you live in the UK. You've changed your profession about a dozen times on this site and I really don't understand what your are trying to prove. Have some respect.

WTF with this Greece thing and Euroking? What is wrong with you guys? Is that forum a serious pro white forum or what? I am from the UK, what Greece and Euroking nonsense you keep talking about? Someone is worshiping a Negro and you guys attacking me and claim that i should show some respect? To who? To an overrated American Negro just because he died? So what? We all die one day.

I don't want to get involved in this bar room brawl over nothing much. Sounds to me like everybody on this thread is OK. But just a little question: Don't negroes say "He passed", whereas humans say, "he passed away"?

Euro King is doing it again. Don, please, please, please ban this guy as soon as possible before every thread on this site descends into chaos and members are at each other's throats. This mentally disturbed clown will never change his ways despite being given numerous chances and the benefit of doubt.

this guy sounds like a troll. and i'm usually all for a benefit of the doubt. accusing a respected member of this site of "worshipping a negro" is not a great way to start a long career on these boards!

He's been here before under his other names of EuroKing, Alexander, and Spartan. He's been banned multiple times and he comes back with the exact same phrases. He's so easy to pick out it's ridiculous.

Yes, that's how it was. If you think the Klitschkos have it bad, the Ali Fan Club was far worse attacking Frazier.

Frazier didn't "rob many white men of an opportunity in pro boxing," he beat Bonavena twice, George Chuvalo, Tony Doyle, Jerry Quarry twice, Ron Stander, and Joe Bugner.

Bonavena decked Frazier twice in one round in their first fight, but Frazier won nearly all of the other rounds. Quarry was competitive early in their first fight. but started bleeding causing a stoppage after seven rounds. The second Frazier-Quarry bout was no contest.

Strange!!! If Frazier won all the other rounds, Why did the fight come down to a split decision? Stop putting your opinion over historical facts!

And Frazier did beat Quarry twice, but refused to match a healthy Quarry in 67 even tho He signed a contract to do so, but He quickly agreed to a fight in 69 after Quarry's 68 car accident when it became clear Quarry wasn't the same fighter anymore and before Jerry's back had a chance to heal.

So what? Quarry and his fans always had these excuses.
