Jimmy Britton (Rogers Heritage, class of 2011) is a superb safety, both providing a physical presence against the run and a ballhawk on passing plays. this kid is impressive.
at 6-3, and up to about 215-pounds now,Britton can run and (possibly more importantly) really plays the ball well in the air...AND he just crushes people when he hits 'em. despite his size, he's just so smooth in coverage that it stands out when you see him play live. he's a man among boys at the high school level.
still growing into his body, he's put on at least 15 pounds since football season ended, and i'm looking forward to watching him just blow people up next fall. he's also an excellent baseball player.
