It is funny how carefree and innocent the article makes this appear. No doubt, most readers of Caste Football find this sinister, at best.

I do like how at the end of the article, the Alabama Jews call out the media brainwashing that comes out of New York, straight up saying that the racist depiction of Southerners by the media is totally 100% false. Quoting from the article:

A Connecticut native, the rabbi halfway expected the Alabama of old with wide-open racism and dirt roads.

"The Northeast has a really warped perception of what the South is all about, and I found out it was all wrong," she said. "The South is a wonderful place to be. The people are warm and friendly. There's very little traffic. And best of all, there's no snow."
