James Laurinaitis

James Laurinaitis is a Freshman Linebacker for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He's 6'3 230 pounds. This will be the guy who starts taking over for A.J. hawk and this monster LB corps they have right now. I think he' s going to be very good.


Most of you have probably heard of his dad, Joe Laurinaitis, better known to the public as Animal (the WWF/WWE wrestler who held almost every title as the Road Warriors). If he can accomplish half as much as his old man, he'll win the Butkus every year.

Oh yeah I've heard of James and was watching him take over for Carpenter when he got hurt against Michigan. He did an alright job for a true freshman in a big game like that. He'll be a good one that's for sure. He was also Mr.Minnesota for football his senior year and the the fisrt Minnesotan to get a football scholarship from Ohio St in over 30 years.
