The eerie thing about the video is how calm Barnes is throughout the whole thing. When he's calling the police officer a "KKK devil," he doesn't even seem particularly agitated, as though that's a normal thing to say to someone. In a way, his comments would seem more acceptable if he were ranting and raving like a lunatic -- in that case, we could say he didn't know what he was saying and blame the booze. But Barnes' tone here makes it clear that he knew exactly what he was saying. And what he was saying wasn't pretty

The officer said Barnes' 2007 Mercedes passed him doing 101 mph. Police said a blood-alcohol test administered at the jail showed Barnes' level was .12 percent. The Jaguars suspended him for the next game.
