Since Lumsden was cut is there a current white tailback that is on an active roster currently in the NFL? Any hardcore posters any help would be appreciated.

That's it, ethnic cleansing at the tailback position is complete even before the final preseason cutdown. Even NFL Europe star Roger Robinson (half-Mexican half-white?) was waived already by Arizona.

The Steelers have been letting John Kuhns, asmall college star tailback, run the ball some late in exhibition games but he's currently listed on their depth chart as the backup to FB Dan Kreider. Kreider was the only fullback Pittsburgh kept on the roster last year. Kuhns would have to be regarded as a long shot to make the team and an even longer shot to possibly see some goal line and short yardage carries now that Duce Staley looks washed up. But he would have to beat out Staley, Verron Haynes and rookie Cedric Humes to get that role.

I only know of one tailback who isn't black who will make an NFL roster and he hardly touches the ball Reno Mahe. Really he is a Polynesian version of Invincible, other than that the well is dry.....

maybe Heath Evans will get to carry the ball a little bit, he had some runs over last two preseason games and even scored a rushing TD...

It's amazing because its only 22-23 years (that's really not very long)since the most dominant running back in the NFL was white (Riggins). About the same time the NFL's best rookie RB was white (Craig James). Now a white tailback won't even see real preseason action.
