Ibragimov V Whitaker

Sultan Ibragimov and Lance Whitaker fought last night. Ibragimov floored Whitaker three times, with Whitaker quitting on his stool in the 7th.

Sam Peter also fought on this card, taking some journeyman guy named Robert Hawkins to the 12th round and winning a unanimous decision.

The real saviour of the heavyweight division is going to be Ibragimov, not Sam Peter.

It was a good win for Ibragimov. He should fight Peter next. Robert Hawkins who went the distance with Peter was KO'd in 4 by Oleg Maskaev. Now I want Vaulev to whip Ruiz this weekend. I want Whites to completely dominate the heavy divisions of boxing and wipe the grin off the faces of the PC jock sniffers. Here is a photo of Ibragimov putting Whitaker on his booty.

Sultan has a cousin - Timor - who is younger and bigger. He is also one to watch.

Nicolay Valuev - WBA champ (by beating Ruiz)


Wladimir Klitschko - IBF and WBO champ (by beating Byrd and Brewster)


Sultan Ibragimov - WBC champ (by beating Hasim Rahman)

I hope your wish list comes true. Yes Timor is a good prospect and so are Ruslan Chagaev, Alexander Povetkin, Alexander Dimitrenko, Denis Boytsov, Serquei Lyakovich and Tye Fields. Also Oleg Maskaev deserve's a title fight.

I agree with your list but am very frustrated with Lyakovich and Fields. They just don't fight often enough. Lyakovich has been idle fora year since he beat Guinn and Fieldsjust can't step it up the competition. He keeps fighting journeymen once or twice a year.


Moreover, American TV never shows the European prospects so that is frustrating too.

Vitali Klitschko had to quit a fight due to a torn rotator cuff, and they dogged him as a "quitter" ever after. Wonder if the anti-White media will label Lance the same for quitting with no apparent injury?

Sultan looks like with a little weight training he could add some muscle and be even more powerful.

I haven't seen him fight, is Ibragimov a slugger or more of a boxer? I certainly don't mind the big Russian boys who are overpowering their ******* competition, but what we really need to put a nail in the caste system coffin-lid is another Dempsey.

Besides Klitschko who has the most potential ( power, defensive and offensive skills) of this group? I have never had the opportunity to see any of the above fight with the exceptions of Maskaev and Klitschko. Any footage out there on some of them?

If I had to rate the white heavies:


1. Wlad 2. Valuev 3. S. Ibragimov 4. R. Chagaev 5. Dimitrenko


This could change depending on what happens with Valuev tomorrow. Oleg does not have the chin to hang with the best of the heavies.

I don't know much about Valuev other than that he is a large man. I've read that he stands anywhere from 6'10 to 7'2!

Other than that, the reports say that he isn't that strong, esp for his size, and lacks one-punch knockout power.

How does this compare with what the rest of you have read?

Ibragimov, on the other hand, I've read has a great KO power.

I've seen tall basketball players fight , they are not impressive. You'd think a good infighter would have the advantage.

I think Dimitrenko is the quickest developing of the up and coming young Euro fighters followed by Chagaev and the recently turned pro Povetkin.Another name you can add to that listshortly is Roman Romanchuk.He's still an amateur but he holds two wins over Oldanier Solis of Cuba,although he lost his third fight with Solis at the recent world championships, he has real good power and is being talked about as a good pro prospect.As far as Sultan Ibragimov goeshe is no longer a prospect,he's there,man.Sultan is ready to take that next big championship step.

Roman Romanchuk is a good prospect and so is Vadim Usenko who was 77-1 as an amateur. He is fighting as a crusierweight but will grow into a heavyweight as he is just 19 years old.
Sultan Ibragimov just may be the best heavyweight in the world. Wlad is very good. Valuev is a champ now. If I had to pick the two best of the young fighters with the best future I'd pick Chagaev and Povetkin. Alexander
Dimitrenko is very tall and has some good talent.So does Denis Boytsov.
