how many white world champs by 2012

Although w lost a few champs, its more due to weight class movements and retirements. White boxing is really buzzing the best ever froma grassroots perpective.


I honestly think we will have 18 out of 20 belts from middle weight upwards.

I predict we will have 8 world champs under middle weight. Which is pretty dam good.

Just look all these eastern eueopean boxers, you can stop them.

PLus all of the prospects from england are pretty much white, mitchell, gavin, cleverly, rhodes etc...

If Haye fights Chagaev he may lose his belt. Guillermo Jones has been inactive for over a year and would lose to Brudov. Pirog is fighting Jacobs for the WBO middleweight belt so hopefully we can pick that one up. Steve Cunningham is a good fighter but there are quite a few European cruierweights that can beat him. Also I expect old man Glen Johnson to beat Tavoris Cloud. Johnson should be an easy win for several light heavyweights.

With Pirog's win whites now hold 15 belts from middleweight up but that's considering we include Shumenov. I consider Shumenov white though he obviously has some Asian in him. Guillermo Jones would have already lost his belt had the WBA stripped him for not fighting in almost two years!! Ridiculous!

Looks like he has some Mongol ancestry.  White-Asian combo is fine with me, though.

The only elite black fighters from middleweight up are Chad Dawson and Andre Ward. Other than that there are very few good black fighters.
