Chicago is competing for the Olympic bid against Los Angeles. How can Chicago win?
First, let us forget that Chicago still hasn't explained where they will get the money from. Details, details, ect...
Chicago should round up every illegal immigrant, especially the Mexican ones. They should make a big show of it, especially when the Olympic committee is visiting. Large signs should be put up around the city saying, "We are not a sactuary city."
then we tell the Olympic committee that Chicago is a clean red blooded American city while LA is a dirty third world Mexican cesspool.
If Chicago does this, they will win.

Sounds good to me. I would also like to see, what's that street with all the Indo-Pakis? Devon Avenue I think, shut down for good measure. Maybe threaten all the businesses with health inspections. Then it would be empty, and the city would smell better when the committee is there, thus leaving a better impression.

Newest news about Chicago's Olympics. The Olympic committee is calling Chicago's bluff. They want proof the Chi=town has the money, or as they are saying, "Have some skin in the game."

This worries Mayor Daley and friends. He has promised that taxpayers would not pay for the Olympics. He would get private contributions from insurance companies. This would lead to a great increase in insurance rates to all citizens, but Daley doesn't care.

This is why the Irish/democratic machine never wanted the olympics. They don't want outsiders looking at their finances and either reporting them to authorities or demanding a kickback.
