Since the Texas Relays were this weekend, it made me wonder what happened to this super speedy, 2 time state champion.
Well, she graduated last year and is attending Tarleton State University (never heard of it), and is playing soccer, but not running track!
And so it goes with some of our athletes....
Jacknyc, she later ran a 7.14 in the finals to win the event.Well it turns out that Victoria is indeed running track (and playing soccer) at Tarleton State.
She ran a speedy 7.19 in the semi-finals of the 60m at a meet at Texas Tech. She DNS in the finals.
Glad she has not given up the sport.
You can see the race here. He absolutely crushes the competition! Now here's a name to keep an eye on . . . Jack Stadlman.
He only started running track as a junior, and in his 2nd 400m race ever, he ran a nation leading time of 45.69!!
At the New Balance National Indoor Championships, Cole Cramer took 2nd in the 60m with a great time of 6.62.
Ryan Dierenfield of Montana, who was fastest in the heats and semis, got 3rd in 6.65.
Jesse Myers of Pennsylvania was 2nd in the 200m with a nice time of 20.99.
There may be more...I haven't gone through all the results, but these are 3 guys to keep an eye this year.
