Helenius VS Teper, 12/19 in Helsinki, Finland

Highly intriguing clash of undefeated heavyweights sees Finnish Robert Helenius VS Turkish-German Erkan Teper from the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki.

Helenius is 21-0 (13 KO), and is in the midst of a comeback going back to his 2011 controversial decision win over Dereck Chisora. There was a time when Helenius was looking truly fierce and like he would be the next champion after Klitschko. Helenius has looked "so-so" in his last few fights though and seems to have declined somewhat in his boxing ability. Maybe this is the fight where he turns it all around and re-establishes himself?

Teper is 15-0 (10 KO) and is known for brute strength and power punching KO's. He recently decked David Price in 2 rounds and has also scored some stellar KO's over durable guys like Martin Rogan (KO 1), and Klitschko camp partner Michael Sprott (KO 1). Interestingly, Michael Sprott has also fought with Helenius and lasted the full 10 rounds yet was brutally knocked out by Teper in like 2 minutes. The Turk is a power puncher and could make things bad for Helenius if Helenius is not at his best.

Comments/Thoughts/Predictions on this clash of top-15ish heavyweights?

Personally I see this as close to a 50-50 matchup.

Maybe a slight advantage to Teper who is coming into the fight on better form Id say. Helenius has had some injuries over the last few years and doesnt seem to be as menacing as he used to be. This is a risky comeback fight for Helenius because to a degree he is playing with fire. Teper may be the best opponent Helenius has ever faced.

Teper has been destroying guys left right and center. His 1st round KO over the Negro Michael Sprott is particularly impressive considering Sprott went a full 10 rounds with Helenius.

Cheers to both guys on making this fight and for being willing to face each other. These guys have both fought better opposition than Wilder who claims to be some sort of "champion". (Yea right! His competition is piss poor).

I have to say Helenius picked a very tough opponent to make his comeback with.Teper has real power in both hands.I don't know about his stamia though. The old Helenius might could out box him over the distance.It should be a decent hw fight, but I will go with Teper by ko, just a hunch though.
