as you guys are probably aware, i've been excited about Greg since his freshman year, even though he plays at Miami. so i thought it was time to give him his own thread.

he's a phenomenal athlete who happens to play tight end. he has wide receiver speed and is probably among the elite talents, regardless of position, in the country.

here's a really good article about him.

Olsen's listed at 6-5 and 252 pounds and has 4.5 speed. Matt Jones is 6-6 and about 230. Just think if Olsen lost 20 pounds and was a wide receiver at that size and speed and with his athleticism instead of being beefed up to tight end size. We know it would never happen -- the NFL won't even let Garrett Mills be a wideout, but Olsen could probably be a monster WR. Jones had to fight to be a receiver instead of a tight end; there's been more than a few white TEs who could have been dominating big receivers if they hadn't been forced to beef up to block as a tight end.
