I would'nt be suprised to see Brewster winning this fight even though Golota is more skilled .
It'sthe mental aspect for Golota which will determine the outcome of the fight.He will outpunch Brewster,he just needs to stay focused.I don't think he will do any quitting in front ofhis home fans in Chicago,if anything they should give him a boost.After two close decision losses recently,Golota is due to have one go his way this time if it goes that far.I'm still not sure what Brewster has.He showed some toughness in his win against Wlady,but against Kali Meehan he looked very ordinary.There was a bit of a sob story to go along with the Meehan fight in that he befriended Meehan and got to know one of his kids,so during the fight it was hard for Brewster to hit Kali without thinking of his kid,if you believe that.I'm picking Golota by decision.

chance: Brewster came out throwing bombs and put him down - 1, 2, THREE
times in under a minute.
Brewster has allegedly told Don King to forego seeking options on
Vitali Klitschko, and do whatever it takes to set up a match between
them.
Adamek beat Paul Briggs in light heavyweight belt.

Reggie Strickland must have read that book over 100 times,good one Pug.As far as Golota is considered,the man just does not have the mental make-up to be a boxer.At anytime during a fight the guy can just freeze up at the slightest hint of trouble,at the beginning,the middle or the end.He's the Duane Bobick of this era who was also stopped in under a minute 28 years ago this month by Ken Norton.I'm not going to spit on Golota since I do think he had some talent,but if you don't have your priorities right,forget it.One thing I will congratulate Golota on is his ruining of Riddick Bowe's career.Golota so thoroughly beat the snot out of Bowe that he had to quit,and remember Bowe was only 28 at the time,in his prime and coming off a win against Evander Holyfield and had only one loss on his log.On the positve side Tomasz Adamek won a piece of the light heavyweight title,son now all 4 major title holders in the light heavyweight division are white.Adamek by the way fought that entire match with a broken nose suffered in training.To Golota have a nice post boxing career in whatever you choose to do and to Tomasz Adamek,NA ZDROWIE.
Golota was the worst white contender in the last 20 years . I would have picked morrison to have destroyed him easily had they ever fought Morrison for his limitations (bad chin lazy in training ) has something Golota has never had the heart of a fighter.speedster said:

Good win for Adamek but the real LHW champion at the moment is Glencoffe Johnson as everybody knows.
The rest at the moment are title holders until they defeat the winner of Tarver Johnson 2.

To this day I think Golota was born with more boxing talent than Lennox Lewis or Mike Tyson, but there's more to it than that.His loss is certainly not a surprise to anyone. I'm glad to see he's had a chance to make some money. I hope he invests it wisely.

Ever notice how when any black fighter loses to a white fighter, he instantly becomes off-his-game, never-that-good, past-his-prime, ready-to-retire, etc? It really hurts their careers.Anti-white racism so bad that boomerangs and bites black fighters in the ass too, how twilight-zone can you get.

I for one am not afraid to admit that I hoped and thought Golota would
beat Brewster easily. After his strong showing against both Ruiz
and Chris Byrd, both of which I believe Golota won, I felt Golota was
more focused than he'd ever been and that his mental breakdowns were
behind him.
And truth be told, I don't think he had a mental breakdown last night,
either. The punches that put him down were left hooks, flush on the
chin. Golota was covering, trying to punch back but Brewster was
throwing bombs left and right. Golota got hit with some serious shots,
plain and simple. Maybe his choice of defensive technique, i.e.
covering up, instead of jab and move, was a mental breakdown but its
hard to say what else he might have done when you have only .53 of a
fight to evaluate.

53 seconds is pretty bad to me, no matter who you are. I might even last that long.
Byrd and Ruiz must be really overrated to have so much
trouble against Golota, or maybe they just aren't big enough to
hurt him like this guy did. I want to see all these guys fight
eachother. Why does it take so long? Jim Lampley has said
that Don King has interfered with the unification of the belts, so
maybe it's his fault. Klitshko, Brewster, Toney (once he serves
his suspension, of course,) Byrd, Ruiz, Peter, Rahman... these
guys need to stop all the excuses and just sign on the dotted
line. Boxing is such a friggin' mess.
And how annoying was Brewster after the fight? I don't know if
I can remember such a self-righteous, pompous athlete
suffering from delusions of grandeur like he does. All that "God
blessed me, children prayed for me" crap. Gimme a break. It's
just a boxing match. You weren't going to war or trying to cure
cancer. You were just trying to give someone a concussion.
You don't need to be blessed by God to do that- as if God
would give a d*mn about a boxing match anyway.
And of course that sleaze Don King had to make sure to
sandwich himself in there. He sure does love the camera.

wants to thank God for the victory or whatever, thats fine - but
droning on and on the way he did made me sick.
Although Holyfield used his faith in good stead in his two
victories over Tyson, believing that God promised him the victory, even
he let it go to his head and get the better of him eventually. I can't
remember the fight, but he said that God promised him that he would
knock out his opponent in the 3rd round. Well, you could see him
lollygagging and taking it easy in rounds 1 & 2. Round 3 he starts
throwing bombs and going after the other fighter... the knockout of
course did not materialize and the rest of Holyfield's perfomance that
night was very lackluster. He probably felt God deserted him.

Golota was'nt more naturally talented then Gerry Cooney.
By37 you would have thought Golota would have learned how to hold and grab when hurt or tired. For all the ripping on him for losing at the age of 37 we have to remember that he should have been a title holder already by outboxing Ruiz and Byrd this last year. But with all these titles from each independent organization being thrown around, who really cares anymore. There is only one real heavyweight champion (VK). Anybody else being considered a champion without dethroning him is a joke.

I agree K.Poop.Vitali is the class of the division.I
just hope he heals up ok from the back surgery.You never
know how he will be when he steps in the ring again.
I want Vitali to unify the title.In the mean time,I hope
his brother continues to knock people out.His brother is
only 28 and has alot of boxing left in his career while
Vitali is 33.
