Bad news. Ghana won the under-20 soccer world cup.

Given that Blacks mature more quickly than Whites and Whites more quickly than Asians, the whole event is in need of drastic rethinking.

Also some countries reliably document the ages of their players. Others don't.

I'm highly suspicious of any non-white country when it comes to the fastidiousness of their record keeping.

Here is a quote from black singer Akon who was born in America but apparently spent his early childhood in Senegal.

"In Africa ... age is not important over there. They don't care. People only focus on it here (America) and in Europe."

Yes, I'm sure these African soccer players are all under twenty.Edited by: Poacher

The under 20 world cup is somewhat irrelevant - the majority of strong (especially European) nations dont have a team at that age level - under 21 is much more common. Ghana winning that world cup doesnt mean too much.

Many people are rooting for an African team to win the proper world cup in South Africa next year and although it could happen it is extremely unlikely. The teams that have the best chance are the North African nations (Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria), and a couple of West African nations (Cameroon, Ghana), but most likely non will get past the quarter finals. Any other teams can forget it.

The South African team is rubbish. It would not surprise me if they become the first hosts to fail to make it to the 2nd round.

There is going to be a lot of pro-African commentary during next year's World Cup. Every time an African team wins it will be a 'feel good story' to the media.

Incidentally, no European team has ever won a WC outside of Europe. I think Spain could change that next summer.

Ghana is notorious for cheating by playing over age players at the under 17 world cup, so it's logical they have gotten away with playing over age players at the under 20 world cup. They are so notorious at using over age players they have a saying " You are not born in Ghana, until you are 12 years old!" Look at the Freddi the Fraud Adu, he has not grown since he was allegedly 14 years old. Edited by: jwhite96

I can't wait for the real World Cup. Lot's of Euro teams should do well like Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, England- unfortunately caste France as well.

The U.S could go deep into the WC also. Soccer has gotten much bigger in the U.S. The U.S has two phenom white players- in goal keeper Tim Howard and midfielder Landon Donovan. The U.S is not an overly caste team, so I'd like to see them surprise and do well as a Cinderella story!

All my life I've been hearing about how African nations are going to win the World Cup someday. They never even came close and never will. The 26-27 year olds (sans birth certificates, of course)from Ghana who won the under 20 world cup can maybe play a bit but it just doesn't translate into the big leagues. Kind of like quarterback and MMA.

The French team is a little less racist this time around and may not even make the World Cup.

The U.S. team only has two black starters and had 9 whites on the field when I saw them 2 weeks ago against Costa Rica (though apparently one black starter was in a bad car crash and couldn't play).

Regarding the Ghana team, yeah my dad and I were joking about how large the homoplates of those 17-18 year olds were. I'm waiting for an inquiry into the birth certificates of those guys (those investigations take place after the tournaments, and that's how the nigerian frauds in the 90's, when Nigeria won an u-21 world cup and the 96 olympics, were exposed)

I'd rather see the following countries win the World Cup:

Netherlands (neigh...must be like France)
Germany
Spain
Italy
UK (neigh...not since '66)
France (neigh...often so black)
Argentina
Brazil
USA (if possible)
African countries (neigh...in your dreams)
Asian countries (neigh...in your dreams)
