Jann-Fiete Arp is an ultra talented German footballer of the Hamburg Academy. Arp is a winner of the extremely prestigious Fritz Walter Gold Medal, awarded annually to the top German youth footballers of various levels. Arp signed with Bayern and got a good taste of the first team competition, drawing the praises of Lewy and Mueller but Arp also learned he still needs to improve before he’s ready for the first team.

Named in honour of West Germany’s 1954 World Cup-winning captain, the Fritz Walter Medal is seen as the highest accolade for players in German youth football (U19 and U17, also previously U18).
The following article truly expands upon Arp’s character and talent as he light up the youth U17 level by scoring more goals than matches played etc etc.
