Flooding in Australia, people behaving! What could the difference be between the people of New Orleans and Brisbane?

Yeah - remember a few years after Katrina there were massive snowstorms throughout the Midwest. Power outages, road closings, store closings, lack of food and supplies.

Yet there was not one riot or murder.

I am still wondering why those Midwesterners and Australians are not rioting, murdering, raping and killing like the beauties in Haiti and New Orleans.

Heck, the Australians and Midwesterners didn't even complain or hold out their hands for free money. They banded together, helped each other out and said they felt lucky to be alive. And all without even one celebrity fundraiser or MTV/PBS rap concert!

Hmmm .... must be a common denominator somewhere. Just can't think of the reason for the different responses.

Oh well, must be the fault of George Bush.
