After the gym yesterday, I took my boys to lunch. The restaurant had a TV showing "USA" (aka "Africa West") vs. Greece. When we left, USA/AW was up by 4 or so. I was pulling for Greece (although they did have 1 colored boy playing for them).

Croatia ended up losing as well 79-71 to USA in overtime. Good showing by Greece and Croatia playing the Americans well. Foreign competition continues to close the gap on basketball doing so with much smaller populations.
It's unfortunate I Think America only had 1 honkey on their roster..
I saw a couple of minutes of the game against Croatia. I'm not a basketball fan so I changed the channel. But before I did I noticed that almost all the USA fans in the crowd were relatively young black women. I'm guessing they were the thirty something single mothers of the USA team.
