Perez Hilton has deal for children's book

NEW YORK â€" The latest on Perez Hilton: He's written a children's book.

In this book cover image released by Celebra Children's Books, an imprint of Penguin Young Reader's Group, "The Boy With Pink Hair, " by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and illustrated by Jen Hill, is shown. The picture book, which tells of a boy with a "shock of fabulous hair" and "celebrates individuality and acceptance, " will be released in September 2011.

Hilton, the celebrity blogger, is not new to the book world. He's collaborated on grown-up books, too: "Perez Hilton's True Bloggywood Stories" and "Red Carpet Suicide: A Survival Guide on Keeping Up With the Hiltons."

To work in a high position in the US media nowadays, someone needs to be gay (Anderson Cooper, Ted Allen, etc) lesbian (Ellen Degeneres, Ellen Ratner, Robin Roberts, etc) Jewish (Wolf Blitzer, Jon Stewart, Larry King, Ted Koppel, Barbara Walters, etc) or married to a Jew (Connie Chung, Diane Sawyer, etc).
