I'm surprised no one has picked up on this story yet around here. Mr. Watson has made more than a few people uncomfortable and others downright furious.
For those that haven't heard yet, Mr. James Watson, noble prize lauriat for his pioneering work on DNA, has said essentially that the reasons for poor African intelligence may be found in their DNA. Please read the article for yourself before commenting.

For some reason I suspect Mr. Watson's name will be removed from biology textbooks for awhile, perhaps a long while.
