My son and I played a little game while watching CSI tonight. We counted commercials that came on during the show that portrayed white men in a positive light.
One hour long episode: zero commercials.
There were commercials with white WOMEN, but not ONE in which a white man wasn't portrayed as a buffoon or an idiot of some sort, generally bailed out of whatever situation he was in by a woman or omnipotent black male.
By the way, its easier to count commercials with white men than those without. You'll lose track keeping score the other way.
