Does Showtime discriminate against white boxers?

When Ross Greenberg and Kery Davis ran HBO Sports, they discriminated against white boxers, especially during the last couple of years they were there. When they did have a white boxer on, they would usually try to match them as if they wanted them to lose (like having Hatton move up in weight to fight southpaw Collazo in the USA, and Greenberg insisted that in order to be on HBO Dzinziruk had to move up in weight to face southpaw Martinez).

However, HBO now shows Sergey Kovalev and other white boxers, and not necessarily in matchups where they are set up to lose.

But now that Ross Greenberg and Keri Davis are consultants at Showtime, and Al Haymon has considerable influence there, there are few white boxers shown on that network. Malignaggi is the only one who comes to mind. When Al Haymon was asked by The Ring magazine if he would ever manage a white boxer, he was quoted as replying "no".

The "Showtime" group's aims and agenda as an entertainment/propaganda orifice for the U.S. Govcorp's anus is to promote and encourage minorities of the greater American people to think of themselves as being especially unique and particularly adroit and able but being shunned because of their superiority. It is a mental relief program, for those who believe themselves to be minorities to take comfort and solace that their special talents are not ignored everywhere; it is a warm cloth to assuage their sore, aching, imagined hurts.
