There are some reasons to like Malignaggi - he has always given his best effort in his fights despite being outgunned (he doesn't hit very hard, his fight VS Cotto back in 2006 or so, he was badly banged up but gave a great effort and went the distance, at that time Cotto was a killer, much better than he is now).
I've heard some of Malignaggi's commentary and some of his comments on fighters throughout the sport, sometimes he comes across as a wigger, but I guess thats what you get in Brooklyn, NY.
Danny Garcia and his father have got to be the biggest retards in pro boxing now that BHOP has lost and shut up after losing to Kovalev. Danny Garcia's father is constantly putting up youtube videos where he talks negatively about GGG, and claimed that Bernard Hopkins would expose GGG. Yea right, if BHOP fights GGG he is in for Kovalev # 2. Angel Garcia also bashes fighters beause their not American. Newsflash: The world doesnt revolve around USA and the majority of American boxers are sh1tty anyway.
His son is a hardcore Hispanic wigger, and its too bad that he didnt actually fight GGG, he'd get knocked out early. That would shut his annoying father up.
Of the 2, I much prefer Malignaggi and hope he has one more trick in the bag to pull off the upset.
Malignaggi would have had a good chance in this fight a few years back, but he's coming off a KO loss and is damaged goods at this point. Team Garcia are a bunch of cowards for selecting him as an opponent. Danny is un defeated and should be fighting better competition.
