I am not making this up:

Ruane claims the lung capacity of a black man is 3 percent smaller than a white man and, therefore, black men's test results vary from the sobriety standard set by the device.

He said Dr. Michael Hlastala, a lung physiologist at the University of Washington, examined research of other lung physiologists and, based on his studies, has determined the Intoxilyzer 5000 does not effectively test the blood-alcohol content of black men.

Well, that one fast food commercial on during World Series play with Dwight Howard tries to say that his lung capacity is 30% greater than everyone else, along with his puma-like reflexes, so I'm rather confused.

Typical crap MSM article with no supporting evidence offered for the readership to form their own opinions about the veracity of the claims made by the "experts".

I read somewhere else ones also that lung capacity differnce white -black was 3-4 % also. But the drunk guy was more then 2 times over the limit. So where is he talking about?East asians have 12% smaller then whites(10.6-13.4%)http://fn.bmjjournals.com/cgi/content/abst ract/90/5/F423
it was taken at the same height.average east asian average white lung capacity differnce was around 2 times more then 12%.

Lungscapacity is most important in sport what is close with amount of Unaerobic and Aerobic.for example middle distance running 400 to 2000 meters.Wariner makes a bit up on last 100 meters against Johnson 400 meters.
100 meter record differnce white black is 3% middle distance around 0%.You don't see much east asians in middle distance but this could also have other reasons like do much east asians middle distance etc.Aerobic and long during like marathon body type comes in to play.most intensive sports you need both Unaerobic Aerobic.

I thought there was no differences between the races. This claim must be wrong based on PC thinking.

That's right, the races are physiologically different in every respect -- except the brains. Somehow we all wind up with the exact same brains. Amazing!!
