Brad Van Pelt

Former Giant linebacker Brad Van Pelt passed away at the age of 57. Even before they drafted Lawrence Taylor, the Giants were known for their excellent linebacker corps and Van Pelt was a big part of that in the late 70's early 80'.

This is very sad news. Van Pelt was named "Player Of The Decade" (1970s) by the New York Giants years back. He was one of the many linebacking greats the Giants have had, not to mention part of some stellar defenses.

Highly unlikely. Brad didn't have the kind of body that would warrant 'roids. He was 6'5", 235 for most of his playing career.
